Dear Partners in Ministry,

What an exciting time to be alive and to be experiencing God's power and presence!

This was incredibly evident the weekend of February 26th - 28th at Spring Hill Camp. It is hard to believe that I have had the privilege of ministering at the Camp, with this special and unique ministry partner for over 30 years. When I walked in, I thought to myself: Self, the people who organize this could be my children, and the individuals who are coming to this Middle School/Junior High Retreat, they could be my grandchildren! I asked, is it time to hang it up? I was open to that, but a little uneasy about the potential answer. After being there for another 48 hours, we, again, saw God work in incredible ways. Over 50 - 60 students made a first time commitment to Jesus Christ and hundreds made a commitment to share their faith in a non-threatening, personal way when they went home. The Spring Hill staff and I agreed that it is not time to hang it up! We are putting another retreat on the schedule for next year.

You make ministry opportunities like this possible!

I am inviting each and every one of you to attend one of the River's Easter Experiences. They are on Saturday, April 3rd at 5:00pm and 7:00pm and on Sunday, April 4th at 9:30am and 11:30am. You can visit our web site at www.therivercc.net to get more information. This will be a special Easter Experience!!!

I shared with you last month that we were going to begin to send our monthly letters by email, to be more efficient and to use God's resources properly. In order to accomplish that, I need you to send your email address to my assistant, Kathleen Biggs. Her email address is: kbiggs@therivercc.net.

Always remember that Easter is not just an opportunity to get together and experience honey-baked hams...there is something more significant! You and I are forgiven. You and I have eternal life. You and I are part of God's plan and Kingdom building. This makes each day a great time to be alive!

Celebrating life,
