Dear Contemporary Communication Partner:
I communicated at a speaking engagement in the last week that when I work out at a local ski resort, it is literally, in so many ways, a spiritual and emotional experience for me - walking up, running down/trying to run up, running down. By the way, it is an incredible workout, 50 minutes to an hour of traversing across a ski hill. When I get to the top, I often raise my arms and thank God for the physical stamina to be able to exercise; but, I also look out across this great lakes area and ask, what can we do to reach more people with the profound life-changing message of Christ?
Every day is an opportunity to live Christ, share Christ and to be the hands and feet of Christ to other people. What an opportunity!
Last month, I spoke in Alberta, Canada - specifically, Medicine Hat. We had an incredible time with young and older alike. It was a weekend where the church was changing their paradigm. They do not want to be inward focused, but outward focused!
Right now, I am in preparation for future speaking engagements, leading - and I am humbled - The River Community Church, preparing for our 2nd son's wedding and looking forward to opportunities to do what I said earlier: living Christ, breathing Christ, and being the hands and feet of Christ to others.
Thanks for making it happen! Your ongoing support is needed and appreciated.
This month, we are beginning our transition to electronic communication of my monthly letter. If you have not yet sent in your email address, please do so. You can send that directly to my assistant, Kathleen, at: kbiggs@therivercc.net. Thanks for partnering with us!
Celebrating Life,
Terry Prisk
