About Terry Prisk

TERRY PRISK is the founder and Executive Director of Contemporary Communication (CC). This organization addresses the issues and concerns of youth in our country. Terry has served several youth ministries and has over thirty years experience in many facets of youth related outreach and training. He has been involved in national youth conferences, youth retreats, rallies, banquets and school assemblies. His previous positions and opportunities have included: Speaker at DC/LA Events; Promise Keepers Youth Breakout Sessions; Special Assistant at national youth conference; Executive Director of Detroit Metro Youth for Christ; Campus Life Director for North Chicago Youth for Christ and Detroit Youth for Christ; Director of Youth Ministries at Ward Presbyterian Church in Livonia, Michigan; and Speaker at Spring Hill Youth Camps.

Terry is regarded as an outstanding communicator, motivator and teacher. He has an uncommon ability to relate to all audiences. He is a highly sought-after public speaker. Terry understands the issue of church and state and speaks frequently at school assemblies and public events. His ability to balance the church and state issue is never a problem. His humor, high energy, life-application, encouraging and sincere message will reach all students no matter what their religious background may be. He continues to be in demand across the United States and Canada. He works diligently to stay on the “cutting edge” of the youth culture.

Terry is the author of a book that deals with the issue of self-respect, "You Have A Right to Know...Who You Really Are". He believes that without a healthy self-respect a person will not reach their potential.

Terry co-authored "Teen Power Thru Christ" with other youth speakers, such as Ken Davis, Lori Salierno and more. Teen Power Thru Christ gives solid advice to a generation that is looking for solid answers. This book speaks to many issues that teens face today and shares solid Biblical truths.

Terry also contributed to The Student's Life Application Bible by assisting with the "student helps" and "insights" found throughout the Bible.

Terry has a special sensitivity to teenagers and their families, and a sincere love for God. His unending commitment to excellence and his broad knowledge of today’s students has given him a tremendous ability and opportunity to communicate to young and old alike. He helps individuals understand and face the problems that often overwhelm them in today’s complex society.

Terry is also Lead Pastor of The River Community Church, which is associated with Kensington Community Church of Troy, Michigan. The River desires to do whatever it takes to reach the largest number of individuals with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
